Montrose Area Woodturners is a place for new and experienced turners to collaborate, contribute, and preserve the art of woodturning.
Montrose Area Woodturners has recently undertaken a new project in conjunction with local artists. Working with Montrose area cancer organizations, the woodturners are now creating wig stands for cancer patients.
Montrose Area Woodturners gathered April 13th and 14th for a full day of demos and "hands-on" workshop with professional turner: Cindy Drozda.

Advanced Art Students at Centenniel Middle School help with the wig stand project. They used acrylic pour, woodburning and free hand painting.
