Christmas is Coming!

Wear hearing protection during extended periods of turning. 

Montrose Area Woodturners has recently undertaken a new project.  Working with Montrose area Bosom Buddies, the woodturners are now creating wig stands for local cancer patients.


December 15 -  Annual Christmas Party with Woodworkers Guild of Western Colorado

Location:  Montrose Lions Club

Doors open at 4 PM

WOODTURNING TIP:  Turn with the main lights switched off. The light from a point source light shining through the wood creates an exciting atmosphere and gives the turner a different perspective in viewing the wood.

             Monthly Meeting:

9:00 AM - 2nd Saturday of the month

                          Open Shop:

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM most Thursdays
