Montrose Area Woodturners recognized in ​American Woodturner June 2020 edition

After going through her battle with biliary atresia and a successful liver transplant, Ali worked with Make-A-Wish to fulfill her one, true wish. She asked for a pink playhouse with Chinese decorations like paper lanterns where she can rock her dolls and play drive-through with her siblings.

Montrose Area Woodturners is a place for new and experienced turners to collaborate, contribute, and preserve the art of woodturning.

Montrose Area Woodturners has recently undertaken a new project in conjunction with local artists.  Working with Montrose area cancer organizations, the woodturners are now creating wig stands for  cancer patients.

Wear hearing protection during extended periods of turning.
