APRIL 14th and 15th DEMONSTRATION BY KEITH GOTSCHALL
Montrose Area Woodturners is a place for new and experienced turners to collaborate, contribute, and preserve the art of woodturning.
On Thursday, April 14th, 20 + Montrose Area Woodturners gathered for a day-long demonstration by professional woodturner, Keith Gotschall of Salida, Colorado.
Keith is an artist in many media including: furniture design, stone sculpture and, of course, woodturning. Keith shared techniques and stories for making winged bowls and off-center platters.
At the lunch break, Keith served as honorary judge for the club competition – box making. What some people will do for pizza!
Thanks to Keith for two days of entertaining and informative demonstrations. To learn more about Keith Gotschall, go to www.keithgotschall.com.
